I must admit outright that the jEDI who’s been on a photo blog trip since some days has prompted me to put up some of my own photographs - its been long in coming, but thank the jEDI to inspire me out.

Not every road you come across
Is one you have to take
No, sometimes standing still can be
The best move you ever make

Almost heaven
West Virginia
Blue rich mountains
Shenandoah River
Life is old there
older than the trees
younger than the mountains
growin’ like a beeze

Let me fall
If I fall
There’s no reason
To miss this one chance
This perfect moment
Just let me fall

It’s cold and it’s getting colder. It’s gray and white and winter all around.
And oh, I must be getting older, all this snow is trying to get me down.
There’s a fire in the corner slowly dying, sometimes I just don’t feel like going on anymore.
And yet I know it’s more than worth the waiting for another chance to see the summer sun…

The farm was still standing at the end of the road
And the mailbox still carried our name
In spite of the dust and the weeds and the dust
The old place looked almost the same
With great Thanks to: Bombay Dreams, John Denver, Josh Gebran, John Denver, Kevin Sharp.
Beautiful! *Applause*
The leaf on the road is absolutely fantastic

I inspired the great one ?! Right now I wish to get up a la Alok Noth, look at the picture of ‘Bhagwaan’ over the wall and say with tears in my eyes “Bhagwaan! Aaj mera jeewan safal hua!”
And after that bit of melodrama, I must say - Great pics. Especially the one with the mist. (I had seen the leaf before) And great text too. John Denver - sigh! so nostalgic. Although, for some reason Denver lately reminds me of Ned Flanders. Eww! Must get that out of my mind.
Keep posting dost,
jedi

[...] Continuing my series on my favorite photographs, here is Travelogue part 2! Unlike my previous post, Travelouge part 1 where I added poetry (not mine of course!), this time I am going to add a little description about the photo itself; I kind of found it missing in my last post and decided to do away with poetry and instead let my reader know a little bit about the photo itself. I think that appeal of photograph increases if you have a background about the picture. [...]
